Jerome Fisher M&T Distinguished Alumni
The Jerome Fisher M&T Distinguished Alumni Award honors extraordinary M&T alumni who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in their profession and/or communities, exemplifying the benefits of an M&T experience and education.
We honor two categories of alumni – Jerome Fisher M&T Distinguished Alumni and Jerome Fisher M&T Distinguished Young Alumni who are between 5-10 years after graduation. The awards will be presented during the annual Summit. Attendance is a prerequisite for receiving the award.
Alumni and current students are invited and encouraged to submit nominations. Nominated alumni must be degree-holding. Members of the M&T Executive Board, Dean Erika James, the Wharton School, and Dean Vijay Kumar, Penn Engineering will select the award recipients based on the nomination pool.
Jerome Fisher M&T Alumni Service Award
The Alumni Service Award recognizes an alumnus who has exhibited a generous, devoted, and energetic commitment to the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology student and alumni communities. The recipient of the Service Award is selected by the Program faculty and staff. Established in 2025, this highly regarded honor is awarded annually during the M&T Summit.

2025 JEROME FISHER M&T DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS
David Quattrone, M&T’95
David Quattrone is Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events and hospitality technology provider. David leads a technology and product team of 1,800+ employees around the world. Under his leadership, the team continues to expand and elevate Cvent’s robust event marketing and management platform and deliver product enhancements that drive adoption, usability, and customer satisfaction across Cvent’s broad portfolio of products.
Cvent’s suite of products automate and simplify the event management lifecycle and maximize the impact of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. Cvent helps its 22,000+ customers, including 50% of the Fortune 500, manage millions of events and deliver billions of dollars in meetings business to hotels and venues annually.
As Co-founder, David helped guide Cvent through its early days in 1999 as a bootstrapped, self-funded operation; and has since led the company through a $17 million venture capital raise between 2000-2001; a $136 million growth equity investment in 2011; and an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: CVT) in 2013 with a market capitalization of more than $1 billion. In November 2016, Cvent went private with Vista Equity Partners for $1.65 billion. In December 2021, Cvent returned to the public markets on the Nasdaq. In June 2023, Cvent was acquired for $4.6B, becoming a private company once again under Blackstone, one of the world’s largest private equity firms.
David is the Board Chairman for the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship’s Board of Advisors at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He also sponsors the Dingman Center’s annual ‘Pitch Dingman Competition,’ which provides students a Shark Tank-like opportunity to showcase their innovation and early-stage businesses. In addition, David has served on the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science Technical Advisory Board since its inception in 2018.
In 2022, David received multiple awards including Smart Meetings’ Catalyst Quantum Leap Award for his work in helping the industry adapt and evolve during the pandemic-driven digital transformation and the University of Maryland Alumni Excellence EnTERPreneur Award recognizing alumni whose companies are “fearlessly disrupting” their industries. Other awards include the 2023 Wharton Club of DC Joseph Wharton Award; the Washingtonian Tech Titans Award five times between 2019 and 2024; Stevie American Business Awards Founding Team of the Year 2020; Northern Virginia Technology Council 2019 Technology 100 List; and SmartCeo Executive Management Awards in 2015 and 2012.
David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Management and Technology program, earning a BS in Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, with concentrations in Strategic Management and Finance. David received his MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Matthew Schulman, M&T’16
Matt Schulman is the Founder and CEO of Pave. Matt is passionate about all things compensation and has made it his mission to help companies make fair compensation decisions for their employees. Prior to founding Pave, Matt worked as a software engineer for Facebook. When he’s not thinking about compensation, you can find Matt scaling a mountain, running a marathon, or enjoying a Sweetgreen salad.

Nalin Moniz, M&T’05
The Alumni Service Award recognizes an alumnus who has exhibited a generous, devoted, and energetic commitment to the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology student and alumni communities. Nalin is one of the pioneers in alternative investing in India having created the first Indian alternative investment fund in 2012 and playing an active role in shaping government policy and regulations. Prior to Ionic, he was the Chief Investment Officer – Alternative Equity for Edelweiss Asset Management and the founder of Forefront Capital. Nalin started his career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in New York.
Nalin is incredibly passionate about endurance sports. When he isn’t spending time with his 3-year-old son, you will find him swimming, cycling or running. Nalin is a 5x IRONMAN finisher who has represented India at both the Ironman and the Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
The M&T program has played a huge role in Nalin’s life!
After graduating with a BSE in Computer Science and a BS in Economics (concentrations in Finance & Statistics) in 2005, Nalin went on to work for a M&T alumnus at Goldman Sachs, marry one of his M&T classmates, start a business with another and raised venture capital from yet another M&T. Since 2010, he has hired 22 interns via the M&T intern fellowship half of whom had never been to India or didn’t come from South Asian heritage; mentored over 50 M&Ts; delivered 15 straight years of 100% interview coverage for M&T applicants from India; personally interviewed over 400 high school applicants and helped organize the first ever M&T global immersion trek in 2025. He is just as excited about the program and its world changing potential as he was when he walked into the M&T office for the first time as a freshman in the fall of 2001!

2024 Jerome Fisher M&T Distinguished Alumni
Joey Levin, M&T’01
Joey Levin has served as CEO of IAC since 2015, where he has overseen the constant evolution of the company, including the initial IPO and subsequent spin-off of Match Group, the spin-off of Vimeo, and the acquisitions of Angie’s List and Care.com. In October 2022, Mr. Levin was also appointed as CEO of Angi Inc.
Mr. Levin joined IAC in 2003 as an associate director in the Mergers & Acquisitions group, working his way up to Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions and Finance before moving to operations and business management, where he oversaw the strategy and growth of IAC’s search and applications businesses. He graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BAS in Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Mr. Levin is chairman of Angi Inc. and also serves on the boards of Turo and MGM Resorts International, in addition to the IAC Board of Directors. Mr. Levin also currently serves on the Undergraduate Executive Board of Wharton School.

Ryan Limaye, M&T’93
Ryan Limaye is co-head of Global Technology Investment Banking. He is a member of the Investment Banking Growth Investment Committee. Previously, Ryan was global head of Enterprise Technology, head of Communications Technology and co-head of Telecom Investment Banking.
Since joining the firm in 1994, Ryan has focused on financings and strategic assignments for leading companies in the technology and communications sectors. He has worked on numerous technology mergers and acquisitions and has led the IPOs and financings of many technology companies. He was named managing director in 2001 and partner in 2002.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked at McKinsey & Company. Ryan serves on the Board of Advisors of the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering, the Board of Directors of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, the Board of Directors of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Supporting Organization and the Board of Trustees of The Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
Ryan earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with distinction and was designated a Palmer Scholar. He also earned a BS in Economics and a BAS in Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude and as a Ben Franklin Scholar, Nelson Scholar and Joseph Wharton Scholar.

Lauren Reeder, M&T’16
Lauren Reeder is a Partner at Sequoia, where she focuses on data, infrastructure, and climate tech. She works closely with several Sequoia companies, including Statsig, Census, and Deno. Previously, Lauren served as Director of Product at Segment. She started her career in software engineering and did some early-stage investing on the side for a number of years before joining Sequoia.

Radhika Gupta, M&T’05
Radhika Gupta is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited, one of India’s fastest-growing asset management companies.
Under Radhika’s leadership, Edelweiss AMC has grown from 6,000 crores ($750 million) to 98,000 crores ($12 billion) in assets under management in five years and is recognized as a disruptive and customer-obsessed mutual fund company. Prior to this stint, Radhika was an entrepreneur, who set up Forefront Capital Management, India’s first domestic hedge fund, which was acquired by Edelweiss Financial Services in 2014. Radhika began her career in 2005 at McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst and later as Portfolio Manager on the global asset allocation team at AQR Capital Management.
Born in Pakistan and schooled across four different continents, Radhika is today hailed as one of the most powerful Indian women in the country’s financial ecosystem. In addition to her role in the global finance industry, she uses the power of storytelling to help inspire young girls to join the workforce. She is a prominent public speaker, known particularly for her breakout talk, “The Girl with a Broken Neck”, and also the acclaimed author of the recently published Limitless: The Power of Unlocking Your True Potential. In 2022, she was selected as one of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders.
Radhika is a graduate of the Penn M&T Program. She received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (Concentrations in Finance and Management) from Wharton in 2005.
Garrett Reisman, M&T’90
A NASA veteran who flew on all three Space Shuttles, Garrett Reisman was selected by NASA as a mission specialist astronaut in 1998. His first mission in 2008 was aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour, which dropped him off for a 95-day stay aboard the International Space Station after which he returned to Earth aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. His second mission in 2010 was aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis. During these missions, Garrett performed 3 spacewalks, operated the Space Station Robot Arm, and was a flight engineer aboard the Space Shuttle. Not only was he an astronaut, but Garrett was also an aquanaut serving as a crew member on NEEMO V, living on the bottom of the sea in the Aquarius deep underwater habitat for 2 weeks.
After leaving NASA in early 2011, he joined Elon Musk at SpaceX where he served in multiple capacities most recently as the Director of Space Operations. Garrett stepped down from his full-time position at SpaceX in May of 2018 and in June 2018 he became a Professor of Astronautical Engineering at the Viterbi School at USC. He also continues to support SpaceX as a Senior Advisor.
Garrett graduated magna cum laude from the M&T Program in 1991 with a BS in economics from the Wharton School of Business and a BS in engineering, mechanical engineering, and applied mechanics from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. He received a Master of Science in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
