WHAT ARE YOU DOING CURRENTLY?

I am an Associate Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in Dallas, TX.

HOW DID M&T PREPARE YOU FOR YOUR CURRENT ROLE OR LIFE AFTER GRADUATION?

The quantitative skills I had the opportunity to develop through the Penn engineering curriculum have helped me come to speed quickly on several quant-heavy cases which included analyzing surveys and creating models based on large sets of customer data. The general business knowledge gained through the Wharton curriculum has also been a great value-add on my current strategy-driven team.

HOW DO YOU CONNECT WITH THE M&T COMMUNITY?

I stay connected with M&T news through LinkedIn connections and the Facebook group. Most recently, I have been involved with M&T admissions efforts by volunteering to interview potential candidates through the Penn Alumni Interview Program.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE M&T PROGRAM?

I enjoyed being a part of a network of students who were all going through the same curriculum and being able to leverage all M&T resources to make our dual-degree course load manageable.

WHAT ACTIVITIES DID YOU TAKE PART IN WHILE AT PENN?

I was president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers for two years, and I was involved with ACELA, the largest Latin-American group on campus and several of their community service initiatives including volunteering with an after-school tutoring program in North Philadelphia.
